How to get to Amani House
Tucked along the shimmering shores of Great Exuma in the Bahamas, Amani House is a secluded three-bedroom beachfront villa located in the peaceful community of Hartswell, overlooking the turquoise waters of Moriah Harbour Cay National Park. The property offers direct access to the sea, a private dock, and an infinity pool that blends seamlessly into the horizon. Amani House is approximately 26 kilometres (about 30 minutes by car) from Exuma International Airport (GGT), the island’s main gateway near Moss Town. The airport is well-connected with daily flights from Nassau and several U.S. cities, and it offers a range of car rental services for convenient travel around the island.
While there is a ferry service between Nassau and George Town, it operates infrequently and takes roughly 13–14 hours, making air travel the most practical option for reaching this serene coastal retreat. In short: Amani House sits in a sublime beachfront location on Great Exuma, reachable most easily by flying into Exuma International Airport; a ferry option from Nassau exists but is lengthy and far less practical for most travellers.

Welcome to our home in the Bahamas
“We have tried to build a unique refuge and have managed to do just that! We love this house, this island, and this country!”
We have fulfilled a dream to completely unplug and be one with the nature. The house was built according to western standard and meets all the prerequisites for modern and relaxed living. Exuma, with its dream beaches, lush plant life, and the unforgettable azure sea, makes us leave our everyday and brings us peace again and again. That’s why we have named the house Amani, which means peace in Swahili. If you have further questions and requests, please feel free to contact Monica. We wish you a happy and unforgettable stay, your family Eberle
